The Easter Bunny

Once there was a rabbit;
Who had a nasty habit.
Said I to he,
“What can this nasty habit be?”
Said he to me,
“Stick around, you’ll see.”
And with that he started to dance,
And he started to run and he started to prance;
And then on my shoe he did sit.
Then he wiggled his nose, and he squirmed just a bit.
He sat on my shoe For a day and a night;
The way he was perched was quite a sight.
Finally he lifted his foot and thumped it on the ground;
Then came from him a gurgling sound.
Then I look at my foot and got a surprise;
Because there on my foot,
Lay something like soot,
But was really an egg in disguise.
