My Life
How can you expect so much of me when I haven’t got a shot?
You might think it’s easy but for me it just is not.
Don’t curse at me. Don’t even say damn;
Come now who do you think I am?
My life is full of sorrow, grief, and pain;
My life like water going down a drain
“Don’t talk that,” my mother scolded me;
“Just try it, it’s so easy don’t you see?”
“I’l shut all the windows and close all the blinds so you will not be seen”
“Then I’ll let you go out and play after you have eaten every bean.”
