The first web site in our family.  It is from a collection of street poems written by Matthew Vrtis.  The site is being remodeled, and I wanted to make sure that at least this one didn&#8217;t get lost.  Every time I read it, I get reminded to not get caught up in WANTING to be happy instead of BEING happy.\t<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Someone once asked me where they could find happiness.<br>\nI told them &#8220;right here&#8221;\nand showed them a penny.<\/p>\n<p>I remember once,<br>\nwhen I was little<br>\nand we were moving<br>\nand all my toys were packed,<br>\nI had nothing to do.<br>\nSo my folks gave me a dish full of pennies<br>\nto play with.<\/p>\n<p>That was cool.<br>\nPushing the pennies around on the carpet<br>\nmaking different shapes with them<br>\nby arranging them in different ways.<\/p>\n<p>If you can find Happiness in little, insignificant things,\nYou can find it anywhere.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Originally, this appeared at www.endsite.com.
