Fruit Crisp

Ingredients

__ 1 c. applesauce (any kind) or canned fruit (fruit cocktail, peaches, pears, etc.) or fruit pie filling (cherry, blueberry, etc.) or thawed berries
__ 1/4 TBS. juice reserved from canned fruit (if using canned fruit) or 1/4 TBS. lemon or lime juice
__ 2 TBS. packed brown sugar
__ 2 TBS. quick-cooking oats
__ 1 TBS. all-purpose flour
__ 1 tsp. or more ground cinnamon
__ 1/2 TBS. dry milk powder (optional)
__ 1 TBS. whipped cream or whipped topping(optional)

Directions

If using canned fruit, drain, reserving 1/2 tablespoon of the juice, and chop the fruit. Spread fruit in a deep custard cup. Sprinkle canned fruit with juice. Stir remaining ingredients together in a separate bowl until crumbly. Sprinkle evenly over fruit; press down lightly. Microwave on high for 4 to 8 minutes, or until bubbly and hot in center, turning dish halfway at half the time. Dot with whipped cream, if desired.

Makes one serving.
