Chili

Ingredients

__ 1 lb. meat, any combination-shredded chicken, shredded pork, shredded or ground turkey, shredded or ground beef, ground sausage, canned tuna (drained), chopped-up hot dogs
__ 2 TBS. or more minced garlic and/or onion flakes
__ 1 or 2 15-oz. cans (1-3/4 or 3-1/2 c.) tomato product, any combination, any flavor: tomato sauce, tomato soup, diced tomatoes, crushed tomatoes, spaghetti sauce, pizza sauce, fresh chopped tomatoes & peppers (with juices and without seeds)
__ 2 cans beans, any combination, any flavor: kidney beans (drained), chili beans, baked beans
__ 1 tsp. ginger (optional; this reduces stomach problems)
__ Additional seasoning to taste (paprika, pepper, oregano, chili powder, chili seasoning mix, hot sauce, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, mustard, etc.) (optional)

Directions

Thoroughly cook meat with onions and/or garlic in large skillet or pot. Add remaining ingredients and simmer at low temperature until heated all of the way through. Serve alone or with crackers or corn chips or on rice or hot dogs in buns or in taco shells.

This will make chili for several meals for one or two people.
