Number 2 Stir-Fry

Ingredients

__ 1/2 lb. meat, any combination, thinly sliced or chopped, fresh or thawed
__ 1 TBS. oil
__ 1/2 to 1 tsp. minced garlic or onion, fresh or dried (onion flakes can also be used)
__ 1 to 1-1/2 c. vegetables, any combination, thawed or frozen (if you used fresh, make sure they are cut in small pieces)
__ 1/4 c. salad dressing (such as Miracle Whip or mayonnaise) plus 1/2 TBS. soy sauce or Worcestershire sauce OR 1/2 c. water plus 2 TBS. soy sauce or Worcestershire sauce
__ 1/8 c. or more nuts, chopped or pieces, any combination (optional)
__ Dash of ground seasoning (ginger, paprika, pepper, etc.) (optional)

Directions

Heat oil in large skillet or wok until hot but not smoking. Add meat and garlic; stir fry until desired doneness. Remove from pan. Add vegetables and stir fry until vegetables are warm. (Add some water if necessary to keep vegetables from sticking to the pan.) Reduce heat to medium. Return meat to pan and add dressing, soy sauce, nuts, and any other seasons you want. Simmer 1 minute. Serve alone or over rice, pasta, ramen noodles, or chow mien noodles.

Makes two servings.
